I am the most grateful bastard!! My great friend Jack Jackson gave me his 1956 ford panel truck project he's been working since 1995 for XMAS!!! Are you fu#king kidding me!!!????!!! :)

He's put a shit load of money and time in this project and I'm gonna make him super proud!!! Love you jack!!! No words can describe how grateful I am!!!:)

Here's what i have to start with and all the bonus shit Jack gave me along with the truck!!!

Straight body, very minor things to fix.. MINOR!!
    disc brakes all around
    camaro front end
    brand new rebuilt 327 chevy
    700 r4 that needs rebuilt
brand new 9" ford posi 350 gears
    gas tank
ALL NEW CHROME!!! NEVER BEEN MOUNTED!!
    New refurbished emblems
    air ride technologies 4 link
    louvered hood
and im sure im forgetting stuff!!!

    My plan is......

All stock looking except for flush mounted skirts.
    nothing shaved
black wall firestones , bias ply , with stock caps
IB KUSTOMS logo on the side
    cream color paint
    VERY LOW!!!
    black seats
    and ....?????

Now here's the most generous guy I've ever met!!!

BTW.... I've known Jack for a long FU@$ING time, and he is now my brother in law..... He's in a relationship with my wife's sister!!!!:)
    AWESOME!!!

The valve covers are actually a gift to my wife from jack for her cadillac project, not for the truck..... brand new valve covers..

    Thanks guys!!!

Here's the deal !!! This truck has zero rot and very little fixing.... probably a day or two. Floors in about a week to do it right and a Gambino notch. There are times when i need to walk away from the cadillac because i can't stand to look at it anymore.... well, now i have another thing to keep my mind off!!!!

That's an awesome gift. I have a '55 F 100 Panel. I'm embarassed to say how long I've had it and how much I paid for it. It still needs a ton of sheet metal and body work because it's a Northeast rust bucket. I'll check back and see if you've added to your thread. Not too many Panels out there. Looking forward to seeing how yours comes out. Enjoy it. If there's anything you need you can't find PM me and I'll do my best to help. I've been searching high and low for most all the parts at one time or another for mine.

Krip, I'd say you're a little bit biased but rightfully so. Understandable when you have a Panel like yours.

Ian, Congrats, under 5 days and you're further along on yours than I am on mine! Any chance you're going to be in New York anytime soon? I could use a hand...
