Here is a pic of my 59 f100.Mostly original as far as paint, body, frame suspension,bRAKES AND trim. The engine is a chrysler 383,that im pretty certain. The rest i need some help.Vin says origanal 292 and auto trans. How do i identify the trans and also the rear.I know the engine has been in the truck along time as the previous owner found it that way in a barn.Does the mopar engine bolt up to a ford trans as is or does it need an adapter.my thinking is back in the day it may have been easier to just take the trans with the motor from whatever it came out.Any help with what stampings and were they might be would be appreciated.I am also looking for pics of front inner fender parts disassembled and any possible part sources. It seems like alot of these parts arent as reproduced for 59 as in other years.I will have better pics soon.file:///C:/Users/john/Pictures/truck.htm
