Ha, no .. I think we have all the problems cured ( other than the driver)

Best 1/8 mile ---so far is 6.41 --Texas , Northstar dragway

Best 1/4 in Sodak cause its not been anywhere else 10.61

Best 1/4 mile mph so far 131 ...

I've got about 20 hits on it so far ..and, its got a shitload left in it ..

I'd guess its a 10teen car and mid 130's ..Plenty fast enough for my old ass

    Weeeeeeeeeeee !!!!!!

  9. congrats!! no more leaks?

    Long story short ..

The Vac pump was not producing vacum ..I got great advice here from Jay "tinman" and others and after a whole bunch of fuck around ..

Yeah, its cured ..I got into an area I knew nothing about and expected it to be easy ..well, now. I know what to do ..

Its a bad Mo-fo , sorting out the chassis is next step

  11. I too was sold on vacuum pumps years back when I raced S/ST in division 4. Are you going to compete??

It was the plan ... I started on the car in 1998 and I think the class has passed me by since

Now , its just more about trying to get my groove back ..

Made it into the finals with mine , was running two cars earlier that day
My bother has a bitchin 67 Belvedere that goes 11.60's and is a riot to run too ..22 laps tween the two and my ass was dragging

Guy that beat me in finals is tough , no matter he most likely would of had me anyway ..Just did the best we could ..fun to do it again
    been looooong time

    Love it!

Even though I bleed Ford blue, the 63/64 Dodge/Plymouths still hold a soft spot in my heart.

Congrats on running that thing! Getting down the track is good stuff and makes all the work worth it.

BIGDAD I love Yer car. 64 Plyms are one of My favs. They just scream S/S. I have been following this build for a long time, cause I race a Mopar too. Couple things I found out after I finished and took it to the track was. Ofcoarse I was hoping it would be alot faster. When I dynoed it the motor was making its best numbers at 6800 RPM. I found out at the track it went the fastest when I short shifted from 1-2 at 5500 and 2-3 anywhere from 6 to 6800. The 1-2 shortshift really did help. Felt like the starting line again. I dont remember the rear gears and converter You got or if You run a brake.
But any 60 ft under 150 aint to shabby. Dont get hung up on sixty foots to much.
MPH is the thing to tune for. All the rest will fall in line. Im still playing with shock and hieght adjustments. I dont run a transbrake and only have 10" slicks, playing with My ladderbars and mainly shock adjustment Ive gained a just short a tenth in My 60 fts.
My best to date with a 40 over 44o with stage 6 Mopar heads is 9.95 @ 132.9 with a 1.32 60 ft. Keep at it, it will come!! Again Beautiful car - FEDER

Dude, I have said it once, and I will say it again, that car is a "BAD HOMBRE"!! I love those year Mopar products. I had a 63 Polara for awhile when I was 18, I really regret selling it. Congrats on getting out to the track, looks like a hell of alot of fun.
