Hey from Orlando. Sold my Harley, to many people trying to kill me. So on to the next toy, just bought a 29 oldsmobile F-29 4-door sedan on ebay(Item number:110461729115) So now just need a little money to throw into it. Going to ratrod/ nostalgic hotrod it. Section, chop, tube chassis. I've seen alot of threads, and you build veterans explaining as you go, literally make it the same as a how-to book. Thanks. Hopefully what I have in mind, turns out as nice as yours. Is 3 months a reasonable build time.

I average about 2.5 days off a week and worked on mine EVERY day off. It's now been 2 years, thousands of dollars and it's still not drivable, but very close. First year was all patch work. Three months is a lofty goal, but it can be done. Also depends on how many people you have helping you (I had zero 95% of the time). Good luck and welcome to the HAMB! Oh, and start a build thread...you'll get tons of support that way (yep, I didn't do that either lol)

welcome to the hamb . and um.....um.... good luck on the 3 month thing . i kinda know my way around cars a little .... my build before my 29 took 18 months (very fast for doing a muscle car clone) the 29 took about 26 months (kinda slow , finding needed parts , machine shop down time etc...) it probably can be done in 3 months with correct ca$h flow and access to needed parts , also depends on how far you go on driveline , engine overhaul , trans overhaul , differential dissasemble and inspect or overhaul , not to mention wiring harness install and routing , proper installation of harness connectors etc..... hell it took my son and law and i 3 weekends to do the harness (sounds like a long time but that harness and its connections will outlive me) but good luck on your 1st build , dont let me discourage you at all , have fun and dont let the build become "a job" mopar210
