Its been both ways, but the latest is a 727, going to install a manual valve body I think. I still have the 4 speed and it just may go back in......
    Who knows...

I think so. Laura & I do have a room reserved but like I said, $$$ is very tight right now. It'll cost about 14 million dollars in fuel to drive this little coupe all the way there so.........may have to put her on a trailer:rolleyes: It would be cheaper anyway & if I scatter the thing into pieces, I'd have a ride home:D

  8. You realize you have to paint it another color and change the wheels and get a hood ... your secret is out and the sand baggin for bucks begins now

Neat stuff .. just get it close to the rollbar stage and play all day and tease them all..

The best part is that you DROVE IT THERE AND BACK HOME after 12 passes! Kick ass...

  12. I think the secret to going faster in this car would have to be the driver in this photo...!

Wingnutz, that is some funny shit.
That is my nephew Henry in the photo.
My wife Laura is @ work, lurking on the HAMB today, & she stumbled across this & she asked that I let you know that it made her day:)

The track is Temple academy dragway, better known as "little river"

The Kontinentals host a race there annualy.

If you could get it to hook I bet you could cut 4-5 tenths off you et.

    (or break stuff) :)

I still think seeing you run at the HAMB Drags was the highlight of the summer for me.

Dang it D.W. I remember when that body was sitting in your garage floor, and you were contemplating chopping it, and what frame to use, motor, etc, good call on everything!!!

$low, running out of money. I've got a lot of the nickle and dime stuff for it, (wheels, tires, gauges, wiring) just need to find the elusive 409 block. I found the good 425hp heads (which are like hens teeth and super expensive)

The engine will be the $$$ part of the build. Finding the block is the key. The rest of it is either BBC or SBC internals... stuff I stock.

I doubt I'll have it together for the Drags... unless I come up with some good money.
