Angry Frenchman, Your coupe looks great. Love the east coast channel. Looking forward to further updates. By the way, I may be from SoCal, but born and raised in northern New York.

    unreal...in a jjunkyard?!?!?!

thats a lucky break for sure. I've just gotta know...did you get a killer deal on it, as in typical junkyard price, or did the yard have an idea of what it was and charged a fair price or worse? I'm not asking what you paid for it, just whether or not you got a smokin deal. You don't have to answer either...just curious.

The car looks to have a few bumps and bruises, but certainly saveable. I've seen much worse turned into a hot rod.

no smoking deals, but I didn't spend all the money either. the junkyard that had it is known for getting abandon projects.

I can tell from some of the posts that some guys here do not know the Angry Frenchman very well. Let me tell you, this rod is destined to be thrashed, trashed, trounced, pounded, beaten, flogged, publicly humiliated, stoned, tarred & feathered, possibly even vomited upon, raced, raced, raced, and rinse and repeat. The Angry Frenchman shows no mercy!

How the HELL did this thing manage to sit around in a junkyard for more than a week without somebody hauling it home?

You are too lucky to live. I hate you.
