My 31 Ford was vandalized at a car show today!!!

Well I hope the guy ya bought it from had no enemies or ex wife and thought HE still owned the car.

 

I was thinking the same thing, as cool as that car is I think it would look even better with an ivory colored firewall.

 

We had a similar event with our 31 on the way home from a show.
The nuts and such litterally fell down thru and into the engine area. I
pulled over and we did find most of them. Tried to tape the rods till we could get home since we lost some of the conections. We must have stopped several times after to check
them. Made it home though....but it was tense. If the rods are not
secure, they can vibrate loose enough to do some damage...not
only to the engine, but to the fan blade if there is no shroud. Did you
take pictures?

 

Funny you had this thought, about drilling into the firewall, but
that is exactly what Woody did after we had the problem with the
rods coming loose on our 31.
