hello fellow HAMBers! Been working on this build for about 9 months now, received this coupe from Upstate NY from another HAMB member, he picked up my 56 Merc and paid me with change and this ride. Never built anything this old and wanted to try the "traditional" build, so went for it! Below are some of the details on the build! Enjoy and I look forward to the feedback! 31 Model A Coupe - chopped had to re-chop to make accurate Frame had been Z'd previously re-did the Z, kicked up the back a bit for a nice stance, adjusted the frame to run a Bench seat so my 6'3 frame can fit in the cab Roof was tacked in place and was going to be filled shut Un-tack the roof and kept the top open so the cab wouldn't fill up with too much hot air - and since I am full of hot air, it makes perfect sense Car came with a running 300 ci straight 6 from an old Ford truck and a 50 Flathead Decisions decisions - decided to run a Caddy 365 with the Hydro - car stated to have about 78k original miles (yea right dude) here are some pics!
