    Thanks guy's!
Steve, i've got the majority of the body work done. Just need to high build the body and block it out a couple times, and finish the deck lid and shell, then i can shoot it in color.
It's looking like it should be pretty damn complete by the show which i really didn't think was going to happen..
I'm looking forward to being there!

    Thanks again guys.

Awesome!!! I'm assuming you won't say the color you've decided to paint it for the element of surprise for the show...? haha One thing is for sure, you do some damn nice quality work! Can't wait to see all the detail in person.

  3. Is it done yet?

    How about now?

I can almost smell the paint fumes from here, it's gotta be done by now, right Tony???

We're waiting... Not patiently, but waiting... :D ;)

    HAHAHA..Not painted yet..but soon! :D

    Steve, thanks man!
Honestly, no real surprise color wise. It's going to be my "fleet" color, satin black. Seem's that's what i always do when it comes to my hot rod builds.
I've even got a buddy who works in a parts store that sells paint, and he named the damn color after me 'cause of it.
So, just VERY simple no frill's satin black. No pinstripes, flames etc etc..nada.

SWEET! I saw your red flake steering wheel and was like hmmmm wonder if he's doing a candy apple red or something? haha Satin Black is always sinister looking. Especially when it's named after yourself haha. Less is more in your case. It's gonna look bitchin!

Looking good, ever get your throttle linkage worked out? What kind of satin black are you using? Basecoat/clearest with flatner in the clearcoat, something like hot rod flatz, or some kind of single stage? Just curious

    Thanks guys.
HRP, I have to do my hood too so my fingers should be in great shape by the time I'm done. Lol

DOD, not yet. I think I've decided to make a pedal assembly Instead of buying one, so it'll all happen at once. More than likely right after I get it painted. As far as paint I'm going to use the same stuff I used on my truck which is just a single stage urethane with a flattening agent mixed in.

In living color...most of it anyway.
Had to take the shiny (wet) pics cause it was actually straight enough to stay gloss....down the line it may very well be.......someday.
A bit different than how it looked about a year and a half ago.

Those damn things are not finger friendly! :D

    Thanks guys.
I still need to do the hood sides, rear fenders and shell yet but there isn't enough time in the day when you're the only worker. haha

Wow, that looks incredible! I loved the glossy look in the first pic until I saw the flat look! I'm green with envy for sure.
