    Nailhead?
    any 50s caddy engines (331,365,390)?

    come on you gotta tell

Nice stance, nice proportions -- great chop for that cab. You should be proud of yourself. How do you find time with all that lawn to mow?

Hey TxRat...it's about time you finally got some pics up of your project.
There's nothing to laugh at there, it's looking real good!
So your going with a Nailhead. What else is in the plans?
Keep the progress going and keep the pictures coming.

Stance and chop look good, but it looks a little long in the front for me. I could be wrong and it's just a personal preferance. How far infront of the grill is the axle? Keep up the good work!!

That thing is begging for a 261 or something oddball like a 308 Hudson, or Buick inline 8. The stance is damn near perfect as is.

Thanks everyone but I cant take all the credit. I borrowed the dementions for it from LeadSledMerc's Wicked sedan. I only streched it a few inches in the back to in order to keep from bobbing the bed too much..

With the nailhead and Chevy grill believe it not, it fills up the rails pretty well....

Ok heres a few pics of the truck with the bed "set" in place. This bed is pretty beat and I would Prefer a chevy bed but I'll make due until I find one...

That thing looks killer! Totally envious you are a frame ahead of me on my '40 build. I've got all my pieces except rear axle and radiator.
Will start building once it freakin' cools off down here. Will have to hook up when done, nobody is building chevys from the early years.
I hear ya on the rain, and the forecast isn't letting up. I guess we should be glad Dennis didn't put us in his crosshairs. We are due a big one right?
Next time I do a run to Lake charles for some supplemental build $'s I'll try to stop in.

    LOOKIN GOOD!!!!!!!!
