You've done the impossible, posting this. I'm now officially 16 years old again and taking my '29 coupe around the block. It's hard to explain how reading this has been a time machine to my past. At 63 that doesn't happen very often. Well, jumping in the '32 and taking a a spin comes close.:)

You know how most of us who build cars often think ...."if only this car could talk..... and tell us about it's past life (lives)"? Well your roadster does (talk).

Thanks for sharing the story and pictures.

    Tim,
What a great job both on the story and on the car! Lookiong forward to seeing ya again.

  9. Amazing!
That is so cool you traced the history back further, met Marshall and showed him that his old Hot Rod is still around.

Thanks Root, I'm lookin' forward to it!

Thanks everybody for the nice comments, I really enjoyed puttin' the post together. I feel so fortunate to catch up with the history. Take time to talk with the guys that were there back around this time of hot rod history. It's priceless and time well spent.

Tim.....It was good seeing you again in Austin for the Roundup. Your '32 Ford has a great history and it was nice of you to show it again to the original owner...Be Safe....Steve

Cool. Great to see the history and evolution. Really fits with the times when drag racing became hot. Cars with do***ented history is really neat

3dn i can see how you want to leave it as it is . Think of this though as per previous owners each did something of their own taste . If you did a large green dot it would just be your signiture on the car . Now if you do something dont do a green dot but do***ent it well with pics great history .

  24. wow! thats some very cool pics and history , thanks for posting..

wow how'd I miss this one!! Very cool TIM. Can't wait to see the car. It is very awesome you found the old Owner. He looked blown away.

I like how they removed the eyebrows around the wheel wells.
