Congrats Jeff! Nice to see this car and the people ***ociated getting the recognition deserved. You're putting together an impressive fleet.
Congratulations Jeff! Love the Baby Hemi albeit a little less chrome and white. I've been driving the tar our of my coupe and like you said there is plenty of power and speed, great little Hemi's!! That is a beautiful hotrod and I love the early Hemi in it. To you and ALL the contributors - outstanding work! Have a Merry Christmas. B&S
Other than the obvious over the top craftsmanship and detail to this build, that white interior absolutely kicks this one up to the 'wow' level. Good, no, great call. Just makes it light up. I think this is my new favorite '32.
Fantastic 32! I have never owned one but if I ever do it will have the same look. Unchopped hiboy is a great look and yours is my favorite 32 of all time.
clem,… the colour is a funny thing in different lights. In daytime sun, it's very Rootbeer but heavy on red.In a building is turns even more red under artificial light. At night outside. the colour goes almost black with the hint of orange hi lites. My good friend Ray D. Williams from Boston mixed the custom color.(body and the cream white paint for firwall etc, etc,) Master Danny Thomas from Kingston Ont. did all bodywork and painted the car and all pieces.Danny is an artistic genius. .sorry.missed your question.(and thank you)
Jeff, that is one fine looking "Hot Rod"! Now make a trip out west to Deuce Days at the Empress Hotel in Victoria, BC, you won't regret it.
Well, you know where I stand on this kind of ****. Would love to get a bunch of HAMB 5W's together next year. Just curious, how does the cowl steer handle? I've heard mixed reviews. Congrats, Buddy!
That would be a trip of a lifetime….and I am thinking about it…. but it's just getting the time to do so!.. but ya never know!
Alex,…. I was concerned about this issue when purchasing the Schroader box off a Hamber years ago. A few years back I had an opportunity to drive the 575 3 window down to the Jalopyrama with the Bones crew. The steering in that 3 window and my 5 window are very much identical.I learned a lot from Neil Candy on this set up.The geometry really must bet super accurate and the drag link parallel with car.Also.. (on my car) Neil made sure that the whole steering was rock solid and anchored into the frame. I can tell you that the steering is "Twitchy" and very responsive.I really like it for hiway driving….I love it.For parallel Parking…not so much. Just takes some getting used too……. and No….. I do not have one of them adapter boxes on it. I have seen some cars with the drag link pointing up or heading south… that(from my understanding) makes it sketchy
Jeff, I think you will have a hard time topping this build as it is spot on......Love everything about it.
One FINE Hot Rod Mr. Norwell! I would have to be pulled out of the driver's seat kicking and screaming! Joe
