Really like your car. Done right all the way with some awsome skills. Been building on a 34 glass car but no one seems to think much of it. I think your body style is more appealing than the one I'm using. Mine was just too street roddy with hidden hinges, shaved everything and filled everything. Spent hundreds of hours undoing most of it but didn't help I guess. Thinking of scrapping it or selling it and starting over. Was trying to go for an early 60's homebuilt garage look. It's in mockup without correct wheels which doesn't help either. Maybe folks think it's finished and believe it's a RR. You hit a homerun with yours though.

Car turned out great and I know that you do not know but would love to know the manufacturer of the body.

Took a picture of your car and posted it from mooneyes 2011, and found this build thread. Who would have known! Amazing car!

Hey I know this is a old thread but I have a question about the plate holding the rear spring? will that work or is more bracing needed? 1/4 inch plate? I'm looking to do the same thing(removing coilovers) Thanks Pete

I CAN'T TELL YOU HOW MANY TIMES I'VE LOOKED AT JIM'S THREAD....THAT'S WHY DID MY GRILL RED, CAUSE IT WAS ALL HAGGARD LIKE HIS. I WANTED TO BUY THIS CAR SO BAD, BUT HE SOLD IT BEFORE I COULD GET AT MY 401K MONEY. ONLY THING HE CHANGED ON THE CAR, AFTER THE BUILD WAS, SWAPPING OUT THE 39 TRANS FOR A T5. THEN....HE SOLD IT!!!
