Awesome!!! What is the coating on the Holly 94's??? It's almost like an iridescent gold color.

Are you going to have to make any bracket tweaks to get the generator inside the hood? My generator wouldnt clear a hood, but thinkin pretty seriously about putting a hood on soon.

Jim the car is looking real good. You have done that car justice. Saved another cool looking coupe from street rod purgatory.

Thanks for the link! I like the engineering, the only problem is its logical and practical. :) Im stuck on this dumb generator thing for some stupid reason? I guess if Im puttin a hood on it, maybe I should get over that? I'll have to ponder that while Im saving for my over priced 33 hood! Thanks again!

  24. I have been looking at the geometry for running the generator over the valve covers. From what I see with mine there is no way to run the belt without hitting the thermostat housing without changing the pulleys. Have you guys looked at that or not yet.

That is why I am looking at the lower mounted generator or heaven forbid the alternator as shown in the link I posted.

I honestly haven't taken a serious look at it (too many projects), but it does seem that the lower mount would be the easier way to go.
