Very Kool! I have the same basic idea if I ever get my present project running. Keep us posted on the progress.
When you're done, you need to do some side by side, before and after shots....It's hard to believe it's the same car!
got gas tank and frame side's painted.... she's getting close! I will be making a steel skin with louvers for deck lid. also got bob drake hinges done for deck lid just have to install trunk handle. IF ANYONE HAS A EARLY CADDY STARTER THEY WANT TO SELL PLEASE LET ME KNOW.
By FAR the best build of 2010. Just goes to show what you can do with a mix of all the right parts. Good job! Kevin Ooltewah Speed Shop
If it was mine I'd be doing as Bob suggessted. You can always change it later. Below is a link to a kiwi 5 window that would look great given the same treatment
i saw a fiberglass car today. the thing was 90% proper. he had a flaming river aluminum billet steering wheel and a red HEI behind a 3 deuce intake & finned valve covers on a SBC...the HEI was my only gripe. they are cell phone pics, please excuse
OK, Dave just for you buddy!!! this is where the car is at this point... almost done only a few things to finish up..... should have it ready for mooeyes.
I like how you have set up the engine compartment. One thing about the glass body is that the firewall is already built to house an early Cadillac motor. You are doing a great job!
'Glass gets a bad rap. Think about all the "real" steel cars that are far from traditional. Thumbs up.
