Nice project! Looking forward to seeing the door top and cowl redo. I'm expecting this to be finished as nicely as the green '32 5Window. Bob
If you are going to use "444", don't you have to paint it yellow!! It's looking great Clark, it's about time you got back to yours. Can't believe you sold your truck though, must have felt like giving away a child. Onward and upward! It had better be at COBO! Cheers, Stewart.
I got the firewall back in my car today. Moved it back and leaned it some. Used as much of the original that I could Put the flange on the front edge like Ford did
Limey....the second car (or rebuild) was yellow. It was red in it's early days. Plan is to take it to Detroit. Bob...gonna be a little rough around the edges in the beginning. I want to drive it hard for a while Rocky...sorry not much extra stuff. Clark
clark,i've seen alot of our cars on line and in mags and you have a great eye and build some awesome hot rods.i can't wait to see you do it again.good luck.subscribed.
Awesome project Clark, nice to see it coming together. I look forward to seeing what you come up with for the door tops and cowl. You can't go wrong with Jack Morgan's roadster as inspiration.
I had been wondering what happened with the car, now i know. Its looking good. the firewall mod is perfect, half the people wont even know what you did. JEFF
Thanks everybody! Also cut the hoodsides down and clecoed it to the car. It looks good but it may be too far back. May have to add an inch or so back on.
Damn that looks good! The Morgan car has been one of my favorites forever, I've always wondered why it wasn't a more popular style to build.
Here's the car that got my trunk floor. It got it's first dearborn in Georgia a couple of weeks back. It got 985 out of 1000 points. I also learned a lot about 34's working on it.
In my opinion, the Model A sport coupe is the BADDEST one you have built. BUT, this car might just surpass that one. Looks awesome!!
Clark, love what you build. Great eye and great skills.... on the truck grill? Holding my tongue for now.
After all this time you start building it and I finally got the chop done on my coupe. I ended up using some bits and pieces here and there on my top from your car. Looking real good Clark. I like the direction your heading. I'm sure you'll be done before me. I'm really slow.
