What kind of intake is that? 241's and 270's take the same manifold and I found one for my 270 NOS on ebay awhile back. Is yours drilled for the 3 or 4 bolt carbs?

You nailed the "look" .. really tough lookin'...

  7. That's one *****in' looking sedan. I love the 3/4 rear profile shot.

  8. Very slinky. I love the raised wheel arches and the tilt to the windshield posts and grille - gives it a sinister look.

Wow Kirk. Looks goooooood! I like how the bottom of the hood-sides swoop riiiiight over the frame-rails. Hey...quite a few fellow Michiganders here on your thread. I hope to meet you Kirk and the rest of you guys sometime soon. - Rick

Looks great. I am building a 5 window right now. Did you use a T spring on the rear or an A spring? I can't quite tell from the pics. Thanks

I want to thank everyone for the kind words & encouragement.

I was going to use a Model A front crossmember to get the front end lower but ended up flattening the original 34' crossmember. That way I could utilize the stock Dodge hemi motor mount (lengthened 2" each side) to the factory flathead crossmember mounting pads.

The rear spring is from a Model A

Even though Kirk leads an alternative lifestyle, he sure can build a *****in' hotrod.

Man, this thing is fierce looking. It deserves a deep black paint job.

Washington blue. Crazy Italian glove tan leather interior. Rivets...lots if polished stainless rivets on seat panels and frames, dash panels, guage clusters and roof insert interior trim. Darker brown carpet. Machine gun metal grey wheels and engine. Allthe 'bright' needs to be a satin finish nickel plate. Just my .02.

Well, Kirk just wants to drive it. Be drove his '34 truck Sat nite (snow was leaving) and realized it's cool to drive a hot rod. No show car stuff for this guy. Tried to talk him into nice 'showcar' ideas. Nope. He's all about getting it done and DRIVING it to Bonneville. Hopefully he has room fir a p***enger!

Oxblood red with a black dk brown roof insert. inside painted to match outside, raw alumminum, rivits, and a baseball brown leather color on the seat pads.

    MOON DISCS... Just kidding lol

paint the wheels an orange color... or maybe a bright red?
