A thread on the guage cluster would be very much appreciated. I need mine done on my 41 this winter and would like to try it myself. I am getting alot of great ideas from your thread to use on my 41. Keep up the great work.

I spent Saturday installing the replacement wiper motor kit and this one works flawlessly. I went with the Specialty Power Windows wiper kit this time.
I picked up my steering wheel today from the painter. I love it! I have a Ford script hat pin that I may install in the center or maybe a V8 pin.

Just screwing around a little today. But I am looking into interior designs today.

The last couple days I have been working on the interior. Put the windlace in and cutting and fitting panels for the interior. I like using ABS plastic and forming it to fit areas. Like this filler piece for the front winshield.

I built this panel to cover the lower section of the firewall. It will be covered later.

I built these kick panels earlier but may change the speaker locations and hide the speakers under the dash.

The seat riser shows a lot when the doors are open so I used the ABS there as well and those will be covered as well.

  12. Great progress! That's creative use of the ABS... I have been pondering a similar design for the fascia covering of my seat riser. Continued thanks for the motivation.

Just read thru the entire thread. Outstanding build! Thanks for taking the time to post, has given me lots of ideas as I put my Tudor back together after being in pieces for many years.

Great work, and I like the use of the ABS too. Do you just heat it with a heat gun and shape it? Where's the best place to pick it up at?

Heat gun works great. I buy mine from a local plastics supplier. Upholstery suppliers are starting to stock it as well.

Yesterday was a progressive day. A couple friends dropped by and they did a quick alignment on the front end. After they left I decided it was time to install the dash for the last time. All went well and I'm loving the look.

Worked on the steering today and got it all working. Installed the column. Will be nice not to have to kick tires any more. Stopped by the painters and he is going strong on the bed. A little bondo and primer this week. May see it in paint next.

I figured that had to be Jesse crouched with the grinder there! Did those guys press the louvers too?

Jesse set the louvers up and John and myself helped punch them. Jesse talked me into doing them and it was a really nice hood. Had second thoughts until the first hole was punched. Love them now! Jesse did do some complaining when he was sanding the filler primer. I just reminded him of who's idea it was.

Bed is looking good and has come a long way. Two blockings and it should be ready to paint soon.
