Can't wait to see your new stance, this is the exact route I plan on going with the front end of my 40.

Well she is back on her feet so to speak..and giving me a glimpse of the new stance for this season cruising. Still have a bunch of stuff to do , but as you guys often know. Sometimes you just need some motivation to dig in and stay on it. So getting it to a point of the wheels back on it and off the stands is all the motivation I needed for the winter blues..Now its gonna be a busy week of evenings in the garage, cause now I want the sheetmetal back on to see the finished profile..

Well guys, I'm still plug'n away at it. Haven't been able to dedicate a whole lot of time on the car. But any progress is closer progress. I've been working on getting the brake plumbing all figured out. Went thru the master cylinder cleaned up and rebuilt. Purchased an adjustable proportioning valve as well as a 2lb and 10lb residual valves. Needed them especially now that my calipers sit higher than my master cylinder..

I have a new found respect for you guys that make bending and plumbing brake hard line look so easy..It sucks, but I got it done..Also was able to fit and weld my upper shock mounts for the front shocks. So it was a productive weekend..I'll try and post some pics later.

WAAAAY better stance! Looks great & should stop & ride WAY better than when you got the car! You've got some serious skills to be able to pull off what you have! Can't wait to see what's next, in the meantime, I'll sit back & eye hump these pics of your car! Nice job!

I forgot to post some completed supension pics for those who wanted to see..It shows the new upper shock mount postion and I even managed to keep the stock sway bar too, with a little mod..I totally believe in sway bars..Lot of guys ditch them..

Now that the snow has melted a bit, I was able to pull the car out of the garage for some photo ops today..Car is completely re-assembled and despite alot of opinions on the front bumper its back on too..I love chrome bumpers..
