This is where my new project sits until tomorrow when we get the trailer out and go pick it up. It is very rough, but I think we can make something out of it. Im hoping to put it on an S10 or a Ranger frame. I have read many of the posts but still have a lot more reading to do! My son and I are excited to get cracking on it as soon as we decide what frame to put it on. All advice is welcome!

Welcome, I like it. I don't know about the frame swap, is there a reason not to keep the stock front suspension? You can do a more modern rear pretty easy and still keep your frame. Are you running the fenders? If not the S10 frame will look bad without fenders covering the IFS.

I will be using fenders on this one. There is no frame under this truck. It is sitting in the dirt right now actually. I unhooked the fenders and nose, and removed the hood where it sits and hopefully will bring it home tomorrow. I have seen a lot of other trucks set on an s10 frame and have heard great things about the ride and reliability once its done. I havent seen any 42-47 fords yet, but havent finished looking yet either!
