I picked up a set of fender skirts at the swap meet in Kzoo this weekend, and I am on the fence about them on the car.

    What do you think?

I think I'd give the skirts a pass.

Those are nice looking sedans, but they kinda got that "big ass" thing goin' on already. IMHO the skirts only accentuate it.

But it's your car, so roll it the way that makes you happy!:D

I think they look terrible!!! You should sell them to me!!

I'd go with the skirts and some lowering as well.

rock both! when you feel like rocking the skirts, and when you want to show full whites. but i do think she needs to be in the weeds!

I love skirts. Keep em, add the wide whites, and have it so the rear is slightly lower than the front.

You'r on the right track. Lower it and put some single bar flippers on front.
    Nice ride!

  18. Oh heck yes!!! That looks great, but like said, it needs WW and a little less altitude in the rear.

If you do run the skirts, you might also consider finishing it off in classic taildragger style.
i.e.: shortened hood side trim, lowered tailights, (to fender reveal or lower) and shaved deck
(as well as the afore-mentioned WWW's and stance). All of which would look good on your sedan (even without the skirts.)

Ya know, I was thinking the same thing. The Tudors are hard to get the correct custom look, but I think it is worth a try.

If the car is level or down in the back, then use the skirt's. If it is down in the front then don't.
