my '47.....to skirt, or not to skirt......what do you think?

I say get some big and little 5 spokes and set it at a nice rake. no skirts.

though if you use skirts with the hubcaps you need whitewalls

 

I'd go with the skirts and the WWW's as mentioned above

 

I vote for the skirts, wide whites, and lower the rear. Nice ride.

Skirt it

 

ok now I got them, but I do not know how they install on the car. There are tabs with slots front and rear on the lower edge, and a lever with rod going to the top.

The rod and lever I get, but do I use the tabs on the lower with screws into the fenders or something?

I get the WWW everyone suggests, but is it awful to stay with blackwalls? it would be different....

Like the others keep the skirts get some WW's and a wee bit lower in the rear.

I go with lower in back, WWW's and 53 Caddy caps.

 

the car would level out if I put taller tires on the front. They are 60 series and kinda too small anyhow.

Like I asked....how do the skirts attach to the fenders?

 

thanks for all the input, but I think I have talked myself out of them on this car. Look for them soon on Ebay...
