I started with a stock 49 Fleetline. 50 Olds windshield, 56 Chevy dash with 53/53 Chevy glovebox doors on the bottom of the dash, 57 Pontiac stars on the dash, all switches on the dash hidden, 49 Caddy rear quarters and tail lights, 53 Caddy headlight bezels, 53 Chevy grill teeth, Impala steering wheel, soon to be added 52 Pontiac shark fin beltline moulding and 64 Thunderbird front and rear seats. Scold me- SBC, 700R4, 57 Chevy rear end with 64 Corvette posi center section , mustang 2 front suspension, A/C and I’m probably forgetting something. I’m in need of an early Falcon/ Comet front seat ribbed/ finned console! Whose holding?

  2. No engine pics? Btw as someone building a 53 and a 54 Chevy your parts list on your car made my wallet scream in agony lol

Ha! I thought I added a pic of the engine. This didn’t happen over night at all. I tore the car down in 2005 and slowly built it and had it on the road in 2013 with no interior. I didnt get the interior done until 2015ish. It’s like anyone else, it constantly changes.

  5. I know five years ago I started hunting the 53 caddy bezels. Cheapest I found were $300.....and they were ROUGH lol. Needless to say my 53 ended up with 54 Chevy bezels

Thanks bud. Had a lot of input from my father, he’s an old school hot rodder/ kustom car guy. He’s 83 and still doing it!

Great looking Chevrolac. Love the dash with the glove compartment doors.

I love it! Is this stock size steering wheel or aftermarket smaller diameter?

    It’s a stock Impala wheel.
