Great job, the taillights are a MAJOR improvement!

 

Its lookin real good, why not just wait it out till your "friend" completes it.

 

I would like to finish it with him but I dropped the car off 5/08, and I will be upset if it takes two years... He understands. I think he has intentions of getting it done but I will pull it if I have to.

i like the desotos tail lights. might be puttin those in a build im doing now. yep gotta be very patient with painters...think that is why i started doing my own..that and im cheap

Not sure if anyone noticed, but if you look at the pics of before pics, the trunk lid had a funny gap. That was from the car getting rearended at some point before it was painted. So addressing the body geometry issues was one of the big four surprises. It looks awesome now.

 

The new taillights are a huge improvement John. It has been a while but hopefully in the end you will have exactly what you wanted.
