Found this on ebay about 5 yrs ago. Not a great car, but I feel I did the right thing, sorta brought it back from the dead. Had no brakes, didn't run, no title, broken grille pieces etc etc. Fixed all those, painted it suade black, got all the lights functioning, and found out last week the radio works !!! Had it 5 years never even tried the radio, I was stunned. It has to many problems to spend any serious money on it so I'll just cruise it close to home. It sure does draw attention, all the old guys I hang with have their own Olds stories. Will put duals on it and drop the front a tad but that will be about the end

I think I like the proportions of the 2 door sedan a little better than the coupe......either way, they are great looking cars. Congrats!

Not many of those 88a's around - nice looking car & I applaud your resurrection efforts. Much to my wife's dismay, I try to resurrect anything I find with a rocket on it!

looks like a fine car.. what problems are preventing you from putting money into it. Most of our old cars have minor to serious issues.. they are old..

Thanks to you all for the nice comments. Boones, I've got about 3k in it to this point, and will probably put another grand in it , tidying up the interior, duals, an inner and outer rocker, and a little steering first aid. At that point to take it to the next level would be some real serious money. I'm gonna be 67, and I have a couple other cars that will eat some cash to get them where I want them, so the Olds will just be a fair weather, close to home cone getter. But it will survive now, and I'm good with that.
