well i got my tires in today i ended up going with the Firestone 670-15 gonna get them mounted on the rims tomorrow. sorry i haven't been active on here lately haven't done much to the 53 lately been working alot. i got all the metal for the trunk so ill be working on that after this week end. i gotta chop a 46 ford pickup this weekend.
FINALLY!! got some time to work on the chevy got the wheel wells and the frame for the gas tank built today....
Made the Top Peace above the Step Notch today was going great till i ran the Inner beads today it got snagged in the bead roller a bit not perfectly straight ugh but it will do i guess. its just laying in there now
got a bit work done gonna try to knock out the rest of the sheet metal work this week then start running the wiring out back and mount all the air system super excited cuz i have a hand full of time to get stuff done i have two months off work HAMMER DOWN TIME!!!!

got the headers on the motor. gonna look alot better when i get the motor repainted new intake and valve covers and ect....
Hey Daveo! What gauge sheetmetal did you use for the floor and inner wheel tubs? 20 gauge? I'm getting ready to do this as well..also do you know how much you went up on cutting into the fender. i used 18 Gauge sheet metal thru out the car could go thinner. and i dont have the Measurements for the wheel wells what i did is when its all the way aired out i marked about an Inch around the whole wheel and that gave me plenty of clearance around the whole wheel
started mounting my air ride stuff today now the boring part running the wires and hoses....cant wait to play with this tho
