    Finally.
It's been a long 7 months. My kids ate nothing but Ramon noodles...:p ..not really, but I'm pretty broke.

    I know, it's a rolling cliche(sp?)
Bare steel, www's and red steelies, mexican blankets...But we like it.

It was bone stock 7 months ago. So we made pretty good progress so far.

MII with c/m raised up into the frame, no bags up front yet.
4-link with bags and a 7" notch out back
    350/350
and new everything else underneath, wiring, glass, etc.....

I'd like to make a public Thank You to:

Eric(Vaphead)for the front and rear suspensions
    Dennis(UPSrodder) for doing my wiring
Sam(Bulletman)for suppling the harness, my flake wheel, and other misc. stuff

Pete (old guy, doesn't do internet) who did all the fab. work and welding. He has people here who know him.

And especially Thank You to my wife, Jill. She stripped this whole thing to bare metal by herself. I never touched it. And she painted all the red inside, plus lots of other stuff. She worked her ass off for months. She rocks! And I love her for it.

I'm still working through some bugs, need to finish the air ride system, but it's a driver. We've been rolling around for alittle over a week or so.

So, here's a few pics from this past weekend.

Well, we knew it was a Colorado Forestry vehicle for many years, but once my wife had most of the rear stripped, and started the doors, she found that it was a US Army vehicle originally.
If we'd of found that first, it may have stayed all weathered and beat-down.

Yeah, will be in Columbus...I hope:eek:  :D

Salem is only 25 minutes away. Big difference than 4-5 hours away.

It's alot easier to part with stuff when you just buy/trade, and tinker. We're way more vested in this. 7 solid months, tons of time, money and effort.
I won't use the "K" word(keep)Shhh...You never heard that, but I plan on this being around for awhile.
Besides, my wife says she has FINAL say-so if it's goes. She has alot of hard hours in this one.

Congrats, looks great. I'm sure it's lots of fun! And I know the feeling -- I just yesterday fired up and let the clutch out on my 53 chev sedan that I've been working on since November.
