Ya know, I dislike red...a lot...but your Chevy looks good in it! Can't wait to see the interior. Are you gonna lower it? R-
i think it looks pretty good dude. i'm really not a big fan of purple but i honestly think that it looks pretty awsome. glad your project is finally coming together.
I couldn't have done this job without Sean Allen, he painted the car. The car still has to be color sanded and have all the trim put back on. I gotta say that McPhail's Chevy was a huge influence on me, it's still one of my favorites. Funny story, I had the car towed back to my house by AAA (AAArules) the tow truck driver said, "I know this house, didn't I tow your little coupe when it blew up on I-4?" I said, "I guess you did." It was indeed the same driver who towed my *** home when the Packford thre a connecting rod. I'm not done yet, this car will be FINISHED, I've gotta have at least one vehicle that looks half way decent. I'll try and post some better pictures, my camera rules but I ****.
Looks GREAT Nads. Kinda reminds me of a special large McDonalds character that loves Delicious Shakes! Congrats
Purple (the color) rocks. Just don't do what my brother did and call it "Barney", please. "I like it alot" Forrest Gump. Jay
awesome man,,looks great! sometimes it seems like its forever untill the day comes when its actually painted,.,very cool...
**** Nads, it looks real good. Is that color really that vibrant in person? Jeez, it hardly looks like that pile of primer I saw in your driveway last month! Are you running any side trim on the car? I know you said you were flaking the lower half of the car. Where is the flake/non-flake line? I can't make it out in the photos.... Looks like I wont be making it to the Rumble this weekend, turns out this is my weekend to go home. Dan will be there though....I'll have to come down and see it in person next week sometime....
Nad's, that is nice, I like that. White and purple tuck and roll would look good for the interior, especially metal flake purple to match your top. later shawn
Hudson, if you look close, there is a division of flake on the lower half, it's got modified '56 Buick trim splitting the colors. I'm sorry you're not gonna make it this weekend, I bet it's good to go home though, you will be missed. I think The Beatniks are gonna want to kick my ***.
Blasphamy! Don't you dare deny that this is a shameless attempt at acceptance into the Beatniks car club Looks good man. Well done. What are your interior plans?
I love it so much I wrote a song..... I love you You love me We're a happy family With a great kiss and a hug from me to you Won't you say you love me to
It does have Barney written all over it, my kid hasn't said it yet though, I'm sure he will. I already have people singing the theme from Ghostbusters when I drive the '60 wagon, now I'm sure I'll get to hear what Goozgaz wrote. I got a call from my gl*** guy and he told me my windshield didn't make it, it's really depressing losing three windshields in a row. I really don't know what to do now. I'd really like a name for this car, Barneyolet might be cool, or maybe G**** Whine, on account of the whining I did when I was block sanding the *****. The interior's gonna be purple an white tuck and roll. Thanks for the kind words.
Wow!! The chebby looks killer! The paint looks like if you had to wear shades or a welding helmet looking at it on a sunny day! Chris
Looks Good Nads! Alot of purple but I'm sure the trim will break it up. I especially like the tires. Good job!
