Nice car man, but I gotta be honest, it doesn't really belong here. I was hoping for a bad*** nostalgic drag car in either complete form or at least in spirit. This is neither. Independent front end with rack and pinion steering, tubbed, BBC, automatic and most egregious of all, that digital dash... this is more 1994 traditional than 1964.

Though I'd respectfully disagree that most "g***ers" are slow and unsafe, I would have looked at that as a challenge to build one that has not only the look, but also the safety of a modern drag car and the power of one as well. "Shakey Puddin" showed us it could be done. Building a pro-street/pro-mod car for the street isn't suiting my fancy.

Obviously nice workmanship though for sure. Good luck with the project.

i love shakeys car but ask him how much faster he would like to go the car iam biuldinding will go atleast a second and a half faster and about 30mph faster and it will be ten times safer and there is nothing modern about his car maybe a vega box the hole point of this biuld is to take every thing i like about the history of drag cars and put in one car and think its a good mix thanks shawn
