Very nice work. Why is it that so few guys understand the no crossover or x pipe to ruin the exhaust note thing?

Damn, that's gonna be bitch'n. Love it with the FE. I had a mess of 57's back in the 60's and early 70's. Several with FE's. Had a Ranch Wagon with a 406 as my family car... My last was a Ranch Wagon with a 429CJ. Sold it before I got it done. A friend is just finishing the orange/white Custom 300, and I think I'm going to end up with the 500 4-dr. It's very rust free, and is a loaded critter with a 3-sp/OD.

Even just out of the paint booth, that car has ''the look''. Blackwalls & steelies, sinister.

Looks like it was meant for that T-bird scoop.

I believe that's a '58 Ford sedan hood (with its stock scoop).

On the orange & white car, yes. But the OP's black car does indeed have a TBird scoop.

My bad. The subtleness of that mod completely snuck past me! Thanks for the clarification!

  22. I'm not sure how to word this: released from paint jail on sentence completed or out for parole. LOL. I'm glad you lived long enough to see this. :) I know that was tacky but the paint jail stories are painful. Now, how do you decide which one to work on?????
