Hi, i'm kinda new to the board and i haven't written anything since 2007 (i think). But i'd like to show you guys some pictures of my 59 Ford that i bought after i sold my 31 Ford. Nothing fancy but a car that i really enjoy. Hope you'll like it. /Stefan, Stockholm, Sweden. Some before shots: Here's the 31 i mentioned. The first picture shows what she looked like when i picked her up. The second picture shows what she looked like when i sold her.
Man, that is gorgeous. Ya did good! Here is a picture taken just this Saturday of a straight and complete wagon. A buddy and me went to a junkyard with plenty of old iron in it. He's been scoping out wagon's to build one for his wife and this one looked pretty good. I apologize for my fat head being in the way of the nice rear end and straight bumper. I even crawled up there and all the dash is there and every door opens like it's new.
Thanks guys, i really appreciate it. I've bought some flake for the roof so i wont get bored this winter. When that's done i've got a few things to do on my girlfriends 62 Tbird. Yep, i love Fords
Must be interesting driving an American tank in a country where a FIAT is considered a full sized car.
'' nothing fancy '',i think you are being too polite.that looks great.fun is what its all about.ive seen the scene is huge in sweden.you just cant keep the attitude locked up wherever you are in this world.hope to get over to sweden one of these years before i become too much of an old fart.enjoy.
Once again, thanks guys. Yeah, you should really visit us here up north. Maybe the annual Jokers Car Show? (not my pictures) http://gallery.mac.com/christerehrling#100008&view=grid&bgcolor=black&sel=0
Love your car Stefan. I have a Volvo wagon project here in the US to help balance out the whole Swedish/US interest thing. But seriously, that is very, very nice.
great car! i really enjoy it. i think the flake on the roof will make it extra special! post pics when you get her finished
Nice before and afters on both cars! I really like how you personalized the A-pickup while making its character more unique...that wagon has a great look...
WOW! Thats awesome. But i can assure you that i've never seen that car before. Kinda makes me wanna paint my car in a nice shiny paint though. Before i bought my wagon i was looking for a 57 or 59 Ranchero.
Think long & hard before jukeboxing your wagon up, Stefan. It looks very sanitary in the all white. I really like it as is.....
Thanks again guys. I REALLY appreciate it. Chili Phil>> I've been thinking about it for over a year. But i've also been staring at the cans of metal flake on my shelf for over a year without touching 'em so i guess time will tell. I'm known to be unable to make up my mind
Stefan, PhotoShop is useful. But, consider this. Adding a red roof will make the car look like a candy cane.
