Very creative Doc, car is looking awesome.

Pete has a point though, the grille-headlight-front end sub-ass'y just doesn't flow like the body does. Perhaps less would be more?

How about putting the radiator in the back, lying flat in the bed? Let the motor hang out in the wind......

I like every thing but the front grill it does not fit with the rest of the car in my eyes ! But everything else is really number ONE. I feel also that less would have been better on the front end its to heavy for the design.

But the rest of the car really rocks !

Now these two would really work with your design.

Also the guy who did the hand drawings up the page thinking Edsel was really nice for your car in my humble opinion.

Does anybody remember the Tiago Ranchero? Somewhat similar concept but less radical.

That is gonna make a cover!

  18. A couple more thoughts on a grille, borrowing from Jiggers fantastic sketch... The character changes quite a bit depending on how much trim you keep and the angle of the vee...

And also a fat-finger engineer hand-sketch for context.

Here's something I did a while back on a Chevy Stepside.
Maybe it will give you some ideas.

Not that you need 'em... wild man!

Your El Camino gave me an idea to build one in scale, except I went a little more "OFF" the beaten path with mine. Just thought I'd show you!!!
