My 60 Elcamino turned fenderless hot rod

    I've been working on some " behind the sences stuff " lately, this is the no glory work but has gotta be done, like the floor and rear end , here are a couple pix of what's happening out back, I'm instaling air bags from a late Ford, that way I can have adjustalbity. Von Doc

  15. you do know that tHey make a Hot Wheels car (I WILL TRY TO GET IT FROM THE GRAND KIDS )that is very close to your plan ..

    Front needs more of a horizontal style to it. Looks too chunky for the rest of the car. Just my opinion. I love the rest of it.

    Well guys My rearend is back from the chrome shop ( thank You Big Ronster) looks like this, (see photo) .oh and it's still covered in the plastic it was wraped in by the chrome shop, I'm waiting to remove that till We paint the car. I also cut the 1st windsheild for the Needle only to find out that I have a passenger car windshield and I need a station wagon or elky one, I'm now thinking of making a plexy one so We won't have a seam down the middle.     Are there pix on the HAMB for the 57 Ford bed truck? I'd also like to see some. Gary
     
  23. Wagon and El Camino would use the same windshield as any of the non-hardtop sedans, '59-60 Chevy/Buick/Poncho/Olds. The hardtop windshields are shorter top to bottom.
     
  24. Can't wait to see the fnished product...(though they are never really done are they?)...might be worth cruising up to the rolling megalopolis known as Boron just to check it out
