    Hey guys and gals!
I have been out of the car restoration/customizing scene for awhile. Coming from Alaska we kinda gravitated toward every thing outdoors ie lifted 4 wheel drives with m***ive tires, tall gears and winches.
Since retiring frome the military and moving back to the "lower 48" i have once again been bitten by the car building bug thanks to my daughters other half. He has a beautiful 57 ford and I bought his left overs....a 63 ford fairlane 4 door that has been lowered and shaved but needs a LOT of body work.
This leads me to my next question.............does anyone out there have a source of supply for rear quarter panels for this beast? Have done the usual Google and yahoo search but cant seem to find a damn thing for it. Any help would be appreciated!!!

I have a 63 sedan...The quarters show up on ebay from time to time and a guy locally claims to hand make them... I also know where a 4door is with nice quarters but it's here in Ohio. Probably cheaper and better to buy them off a CA Hamber with a parts car.

Is this particular four door really what you want? Or are you just doing it cos it's Available? Reason I ask is if there is ALOT of bodywork you may be better off looking around for a straighter dryer four door body as they do not command the price the two doors do and therefore be an affordable alternative to doing a whole lot if repairs

I don't know sometime in 63 supposively there was a law that all new cars sold in Indiana had to have a running light in the grill.. I liked it so it stayed. It still works too!

As long as you know your not going to get rich by doing it, who cares, they print more money every day. if it means something to you thats all that matters. Make it happen.
