  3. This thing was absolutely mint. Everything worked as it should .

but everything cost a fortune on it as it was “67-69 lincolin only parts “

the engine , trans and rear where not the issue .

but everything else I touched was $1000.00 bucks for everything !!!!!

As fun as that car was , the restoration was soul ****ing .

the cars before this one was a 79 Camaro , a 73 bug and my 53 Chrysler .

all of them dirt cheap to modify , customize and have fun with .

But I would buy another suicide door Lincoln in a heartbeat !!

  4. Yes but.... they're not a F*N Dodge, now are they?

no , no their not a dodge . But there still cool as cool can be :p:D:cool::p:D:cool::confused:

Now question for you guys who where around when these where new .
Where they cool ? Or just a grandpa car and the cool came later ?

I just love the slab sided conservative styling of lincolin over all the garish filigree of Cadillac .

not that I wouldn’t cruse a caddy , but I dunno it might be the Italian in me I have always gravitated towards lincolin styling .

I sort of likes the big Chryslers and Imperials of that era. They were above my pay grade back then, and I have moved on since, but its still fun to see a few show up from time to time.

  8. I thought they were cool when they first came out. That slab-sided, understated design was elegant and stylish, unlike the Cad and Imperial, which I thought were garish and overdone.
I'm sure your penchant for the Lincoln DOES emanate from your Eyetallyan roots, but not knowing your "family" affiliation, I won't comment in more detail for fear of reprisal!

  9. My old Daddy had a 67 that was white ,,,black vinyl top,,,,power everything !
That was a cool car for me,,,that was about 1975,,,,,we loved it .
My most vivid memory was how smooth the chrome ****ons and switches were to the touch .
They felt like gl***,,,,,smooth as ****er,,,with smooth blended corners .
Whoever was in charge of the interior styling,,,,was a true artisan .
And those doors were a pleasure to use,,,you felt like you were somebody ,,just driving up and getting out !
    Great car !

How many square feet in there? I've rented smaller apartments.
