all your fab work looks great. its your car build it how you want. you mixed alot of styles into one killer package!
i just found your post this morning i just got my first hot rod to play with (29 ford) love what you did with the car, and as far as being a FNG as someone put it we all were FNG's at one time or another, thats why we ask questions and listen to others. I own a towing company, i asked alot to the old boss, now i own it --- have 15+ yrs in dealers as a auto tech, still learning to this day, why dont you butheads that want to rip on him just stop and think back on all your builds as none of us are perfect and he built his ride his way, but i do have one more thing to say though AWSOME RIDE !!!!!!!!!
Here are some updated pictures. We are about 90% complete. It is on the road and runs awsome Thanks to Matt, Tyler, and Darren.
What a blast, Austin was a great first trip on the old girl. Friday we left Houston and hit rain from Belville to La Grange. After that nice weather. The only problems that I had was a bolt fell out of the alternator and my front tires get wheel hop at 70-75 mph. We ran about 65 mph the whole time. Here is a couple of pictures.
i didnt read the whole thread, but im not sure why everyones being so dramatic... i think its pretty cool!
so what'd you end up doing with the hydraulics for the 6 spd and the clutch pedal? end up making your own pressure line??
I'll sneek in and add that, yes, it runs a Wilwood hydraulic clutch setup with steel-braided lines going to a hydraulic throwout bearing.
