    heres the progress to date.
building bomber seats this week, then a bit of wiring, handbrake, and thats about it..then the biggest hurdle, getting it registered.

You know me, pissin in people's corn flakes............WHO"S HUNGRY?!:D

I think the dark color detracts from the body line on the top of the cowl and around the body. Blends everything in................so here's MY 2 & 3/4 cents

Thanks for the preview Ben. Looks good but somehow also lost something under that paint. Looking forward to seeing (and hearing) it at the picnic. Your ride inspired a lot of what I'm doing with mine so hurry up so I can see what sort of windscreen I'm gunna have. Good progress!

I see your point on the body lines disapearing, but honestly it doesnt do that in real life. The satin paint actually makes them stand out more..no reflections to distract the eye. That said i quite like Brandys treatment..but i love how she treats me anyways

see you all at the picnic, anyones welcome to give her a blast around the grounds, that was the funnest part last year, and this year ill actually have a fan and a generator!

yeh the split bones might be an issue..striper said hes managed to convince an engineer to sign off on them,i hope this is the case...stupid ****ing rule.

yeh it has lost a lot of character getting painted, but i figure it had a year like that, and was well seen/do***ented (5 different mags had pics of it)
and no way in hell would i get full reg with a rusty multicoloured car.....even though chicks dig it :D

That's funny. I use satin paints to HIDE characteristics and blemishes on my cars. Do what floats your tuna barge, when you get desperate and sell it to ME, I will just add my whimsical dash of cream.:p I still love the damn thing and think it's one of the best rpu's I've ever seen.

    I could treat you worse.:D

  27. Hey crew,

I love the new paint. Whilst last years finish was fun and full of character, the new paint takes the ride to a more subtle and sophisticated level. I agree with brandy, you loose some of the body lines but you make up for it in sleekness and a sense of style that makes Swedish Ikea designers look like finger painting midgets on a toureetes only jerry springer special.

I too will be there this year with license and sobriety. Well maybe not the sobriety but definitely a license. a license to thrill the ladies with my duals and heads and bad boy demeanour. mmm... demeanour.

    Ciao.

must also offer thanks-a-plenty to Maiki, sicko boi and the nooch for all their invaluable help...I can do most things by myself, but lifting the body on and off numerous times aint one of them.
