Hi guys , I rarely post anything , but I thought I would share a pic of my project . Its a 47 that was a stocker purchased from PA Gas a few years ago. Kinda slow going but, you know time and money ! Anyway .030 over 454 , steel GM crank , eagle rods ,comp blower cam , 671 , full manual auto , 9 inch , 3.50 gear , 2800 converter. Real wheels , trying to do the sixties man ! Would love to do candy red flake or maybe gold. But will probaly be black primer , with RATZILLA on the door . What do ya'll think ? Thanks for looking , Mike
That looks like it's gonna be a handful to drive! In my opinion, it's gonna deserve better than primer. Definitely paint it gold.
Cool, post more on the build!... I just got a '48 body, I plan to build it in a 60's style. Love the wheel combo. -Saint
That's for sure a g***er. If you are interested in a g***er group, get with me when ready. In the mean time, go to www.geezerg***ers.com That's my group. I vote for the red metalflake.......already have a gold one!!!! Good luck with the rest of it. Chuck
love it. Are you leaving the stock top pans? I was planning on the same idea for my g***er project. Are you running stock rockers?
You're doing to good a job not to paint it. Black primer until then is ok, but leave the name off. When you cruising in a blown anglia you don't have to put a name on the door, everybody'll figure it out soon enough. Let the guys with sbc's put a name on their doors.
