[ QUOTE ] Might want to check your tire pressure. [/ QUOTE ] tire pressure is low.but the car hasnt left the parking lot in months.they were stolen.damn hoodlums.. anyways it looks like im rollin stock black steelies now.
[ QUOTE ] might want to write a thank you note. [/ QUOTE ] dats funney!!! may they live out there days on a three wheeled car somewhere! .....a moment of silence plz...........................................
We bought a set of iron cross spinner 14" caps from pep boys and slapped them on one of the guys in the club's 64 galaxie at a cruise night... he didnt think it was very funny... that's what he gets for running 14's
Remember them? Hell, BArnett and I have been searchin the junk yard for a set! Them things is da bomb fool!
A gas station around here sold those pop-on Cragar caps years ago...I almost bought a set for my Nova...till one of my buddys laughed as I picked them up... "I was gonna put 'em on YOUR car!", I said to wriggle outta the crosshairs!!!
The Cragar caps are cool! well, "cool" in a cheezie sorta way...but cool nonetheless!! I REALLY hope those are actual bullet holes, though. the caps were bad enough, but if those are sticker bullet holes....yeeesh.
I had a set of those cragar caps on my 72 Dart with skinny whites and all my friends made fun of me. Baby blue dart with a white vinyl top? Dude, I was getting some!!!
Do you really think that someone would have the cl*** to run those sweet *** hub caps, but not real bullet holes? I think not. Im guessin this puppy has seen the business end of a Red Rider BB gun!
[ QUOTE ] Are those real bullet holes or just stickers? [/ QUOTE ] no those arent bullet holes or stickers.thats the holes on the fender for the "dynamic 88" trim script, and surface rust around them. as for the hubcaps.my roomie and i saw them at autozone and thought how cheezy they were and decided one of us needed them..well for my birthday i got them from him.kind of a joke..i cant believe anyone actually wanted to steal them either.
[ QUOTE ] anyways it looks like im rollin stock black steelies now. [/ QUOTE ] Sorry that you lost the brithday present. But if you can't swing wheels on a 60s car than black steelies are the only way to go. Snag some chrome acorn nuts if you need sparkle.
The rev is having a "I meant to do that" episode. I saw some chrome teddy bear hubcaps on e-bay that I wanted to buy and put on my '60 Chevy for ****s and giggles. They used to sell these plastic hubcaps in England called Savage in the '70s. You really don't need to see a picture of them because the name Savage ought to be enough. They came in 4 different styles, each capturing the essence of boy racer cheapness in the finest silver painted plastic. If you squinted your eyes and looked at them from 50 feet they might appear to be expensive alloy wheels, but then again some uglybilly chicks look like Marilyn Monroe using the same viewing method.
