Wow, that's random...Cool she's into this though.

 

I didn't get a lot of pictures, but I really like this one.

 

These? Yep, COOL. B. I'll post all my stuff in the morning. I'm pooped after the road trip back to Seattle.

That guy IS a machine!! I really don't know how he does it - quite amazing. He's everywhere and doesn't seem to sleep much either...

that really cleans it up. what program/software is that? it would be a pretty good photo if i could now fix the angle and get the rear wheel/tire of the back car in there, with a little daylight in between.

well crap. it was the "real" tanya harding. we kept hearing her nme on the radio/c.b.'s and the jokes abounded. but we really didn't think it was her.

hey fred,
i am sure someone on here has a lot of info on that car as well as some really good photographs. i'd say it was one of the most photographed car on the salt. I don't know about the glass or steel part, but it looks Hemified to me. Here's a pic of the same car at Pleasanton yesterday. That car always seems to have people around it. Hard to get a good photo.

Packard, your meeting Ed Iskenderian brings up another one of the great things about being at Bonneville: meeting people you never thought you would.

Years ago during Speed Week, we went to one the casinos for dinner. Waiting in line next to me was a white-haired man wearing denim coveralls and an Honest Charley T-shirt. I mentioned reading the company's ads back in the '60s and enjoying them, he agreed, and we talked for awhile about this and that. Inside, we ended up sitting at the same big table. It was later, during dinner, when someone leaned over to me and whispered, "That's Kent Fuller."
