As far as the Comfort Inn goes, got a phone call from LOBrow tonight who also had charges on his credit card for a room he cancelled. MAJOR issues with that place.

Yea, **** the Comfort Inn. I didnt even stay there and they charged me $143.00. I've called twice and I keep getting the run around. I will NEVER try and reserve a room at this hotel, they have been nothing but a pain. I am just hoping to get my card credited and they just keep telling me that their manager will call me back.....when she is not busy

 

Nope, it had been so long since he signed on he didn't remember it either. He will be at the Detroit Autorama in March. He works for Troy and they will be bringing a car. If you REALLY want to talk to him about the bike, call Troy Trepaier's (sp?) shop and ask for Levi.

Seriously, Denise said his name was Levi... I searched Levi and found his intro. I remember him being one of or the lead fabricator on the green 32 that came out of Troy's shop a couple of years ago. Kid has some talent.

 

wow great post i had a blast at the pile-up even if though i sleep in my car it was frezzing cold and too windy to do much paint slinging i still had a great time it was great to meet you denise glad you ilke the purse maybe if i can make it to detroit we can have another exchange cookies for purses....mummm cookies, shame i didnt get to stay sat nite the inlaws were having a time with the twins so i had to head back north looks like fools was a blast maybe next year hell i might even get a room but then again maybe not . Any way it was great to meet you, larry, ppoc ,lil duce and all the rest i will have to make the 800 mi trip again next year for sure

Damn good to see ya again.Its always a pleasure sure missed Rudy bein with ya.Great pic of the truck and bike as well not sure about the goofy *** dude with the light blue hat though.Till we meet again try to stay outta trouble and there will be no reason for Rudy to miss the autorama since its in his home town.I might even try to get Earl Schieb to come up from Tenn and head up with me this year.

It's nice to hear I was missed Dave, belive me it wasn't easy to stay home that weekend but I kinda overspent on the new project(s) and screwed myself.

Just about "done". I'm stuck on New Hampshire. It's the only plate I'm missing and I can't put the ones up after that one cuz I don't know what size a NH plate I might end up with. I need a new best HAMB bud in that state I guess.

I did just decide I want the cupboards shinier then what they are so I'm going take the doors off again and put a couple of coats of polyurathan (sp?) on. I can then put all the new bushed stainless horizontial pulls on and I'll be set.

I had some GMB's over a couple of weekends ago, they all went nuts, they loved it so much. I can't hardly wait to post the photos, and story of course, to go along with it.

Denise, you should pencil in the Road Agents Rockabilly Rumble for next July and get to visit some of your New England buds.

 

While I usually get to the "East" coast at least once a year, ie: 2006 I made the Jalopy Showdown and the Syracuse Nats, in 2007 I'm heading to B'ville for Speed Week in August therefore the other events I normally attend might have to take a backseat for a year. I only have 10 vacation days from work. We'll see.

 

Saw u at the Pileup Denise but you were busy yakin with others. Like the little Willy's roadster too. You have any idea how few of those were built. One of the rarest cars I've ever seen. Talked to the guy for a few. He bought the car off the internet and paid $6200 for it. Came from an estate sale and the previous owner wanted out +$200. The guy dropped the gennie drive line and sold it, installed a sbc, glide and 8" rearend and been having fun all summer long. Looks like the deal of the year to me.
Guess I missed the meet and greet but wouldn't have missed your cookies I've heard so much about.
Maybe next time.
