Last year in december, my brother told us, that he had skleroze. That was pretty tough on the family. He is only 40 years old, and has a 3 year old son and a one year old dougther. He has his own company, where he sell and maintain robots. 2 weeks ago, he was on a vacation i Sweden, with hes family. He had some trouble with his shoulder. And friday morning, after a sleeples night, he went to se a doctor. The doctor put him strait in an ambulance to the hospital, his right lung was collapsed. So he spend a week i a swedish hospital and came home last friday, 7/24-09, in an ambulanceplain. And was put inta a danish hospital, closer to the family. The vacation should have ended after the weekend he was hospitalized, and he should have returned to sweden, to the European street rod nats. He should ride shotgun with a menber of our rod club, Westside Rodders, his own rod isnt road legal yet. Tuesday night was rough on him, he cuoldnt sleep, because of pains and he was thinking about his situation. He decided to sell the rod, he couldnt se how he should manage to get it finished for inspection, so he could get licensplates on it. The next day i talked to him, and could hear that he wasnt in a good mood. He called me again at 10 pm, and everthing had changed. He had a call from one of the members from Westside Rodders, Benny Hoejer. He and two other mebers, Alex Pedersen and Torben bech, had been talking about his situation saturday night, in Sweden, and decided that the best they could do for him, was get his rod inspected. So he shall deliver it to Bennys garage in september. And then they will do what needs to be done, he shall pay the materials. And when they are done, Alex will get it inspected. Now that are some good guys to be in a club with. Lars Heres some pictures of my brothers 1939 Plymouth. He bought it in Sweden, and i think it came from California
Lars, I ***ume that your brother's disease is MS, and if it's that than I am sorry for him and his family. It is a disease that can strike anyone and anytime and without any hope of a cure. His Plymouth looks great and he's lucky to have a group of friends that will get the car road ready for him and the family. I pray for him to find relief from his health problems and for his ability to find enjoyment with his car and his family.
It is amazing how good people can be when they need to be. I am 67 and it never ceases to amaze me. Hot rodders always rise to the occasion. Best wishes to your brother and your family. Later, ****
Mopar34, yes its MS. But thankfully it dosnt strike everybody the same way Jimbobb, yes they do rock Road Kill PU, you are right, we always here how people have enough in them self, but thankfully not everybody. And thank you for your prayers. Lars
I can relate to a life threatening situation from personal experience. And as a result I'll add my prayers to those already offered. There were times during my my recovery that I'm convinced the prayer that was offered on my behalf was what pulled me through to see another day. Stay close and be supportive, it's the most valuable ***et he will have. Frank
