My younger brother got his 64 Thunderbird finished for this year's Road Rockets Rumble and its first road miles were to the event on Friday morning. He built the entire car in his garage at home doing the suspension work (air bags), the body (frenched antenna, hood scoop, shaved handles and badges, tail light grille), paint and upholstery. His previous cars (27 T roadster, chopped 49 Ford coupe) have collected some awards but this one is definitely the nicest and true to form picked up a trophy at the event. Roo
Your brother did a great job on that bird. I've often wondered why we don't see more of these cars done.
Thunderchicken at it's best. What a beautiful ride, very impressive styling touches and a sweet stance. Be proud my friend, you have done a super job on a classic t.Bird My son had a nice 65, so I have a soft spot for the dandys. Thanx for showing us the gem. ~Sololobo~
Didnt see you at the show...but your brother and I talked about interior work for a good while. I am learning to sew so he had some helpful hints..His bird is well deserving and congrats to him. Shoe
LOVE this. These Thunderbirds are way underrated, they have a very 60's look to them and this one is done just right. I especially like the tail light treatment.
