My buddy's new old style full custom 53 ford more pics added

  1. Barry has been working on this for years. 8-10 anyway. Pancaked roof, not chopped, different rear window and mid to late sixties look on the front and rear end. I think he really needs quad headlites to go with the rear end treatment. At any rate it is different and a bunch of work. Nutz

Thats real cool, in town here???

  13. Vancouver area car. In my old club out there. The car is not chopped. He took the fatness out of the roof, pancaked it. Also altered the post. Nutz.

FULL SIZE FRONT WINDOW ,AS IN NOT CUT, AS IN NO CUTS THROUGH THE POSTS????? Are the posts slanted?

  15. DJ, you missed coffee tonite. Nutz.

  16. Yep, he slanted the posts and changed the back window. Gives it a unique look. All the fatness from above the drip rail area is gone. Nutz.

YUP, IT'S CHOPPED! It may be decrowned like you say, but it is also chopped. I wouldn't believe it is not chopped until I saw the whole roof inside with no headliner, at least the a,b,c pillars to make sure there are no cuts.
But, actually, I could care less... I like the car a lot. nice mid '60s mild show car look goin' on... [IMG]

Sorry Pat, got the new house on Wed. nite, been workin my ass off on it, we'll be in touch. Talk to ya soon.

  27. Haven't heard from Barry yet, but it sure looks chopped. 50 ford back window. Ton of work. Nutz.

  28. number 2 in show trim finished

  29. last one. I think the hood was pancaked as well as the shape changed. He is doing a 53 ford pickup that probably doesn't have 2 square inches of the body and frame left that isn't modified. Sliced, diced and julienned. Nutz.
