My Bug Goes For Paint!!!

VW's were customized in a style pretty similar to Cherry's car in the 60's.(Although her color shoice isn't traditional) Empi 5 spokes and BRMs all date from that time. About as traditional as anything else.

Sam, we've been through this before. Bug's are a little known secret on this board. So be a good little FNG and don't worry about it.
Why don't you go play with your flat black 4 door with red wheels.....you have one dont you? Cuz...that's what traditional is, right? You should know....

 

We can sit here and argue about bugs being traditional or not, but Cherryblossoms ARE traditional for sure....
I think that there were Cherryblossoms in the garden of Eden.... I have a bible with pictures in it and I am positive that I saw a picture of Eve with a Cherryblossom tucked into her hair, behind her ear. Nothing more traditional that a rib-stealing, hot naked chick running around with flowers in her hair....
Bugs MIGHT be traditional... but, Cherryblossoms ARE trad bro!

...but just FYI they were both hot rodded and customized in the 50s and 60s. probably more so than any other single make or model of car in existance at the time. i plan to build myself one alot like the chopped and suicided one in the movie Hollywood Knights.

 

hey like I said I don't mean to be an ass..... I actually kinda dig bugs, just thought this was more of a narrow minded board, I actually am not (just had one of those weeks) I actually do not own a 4 door,red wheels or anything currently flat black..... here are a few of mine
so as you can see I am not your typical "traditionalist", I just didn't know that Bugs were an ok subject here, I got the impression that most here were into Model As, Roadsters Rat Rods (for no better term) and primered Kustoms... I do apologize for being an ASS
