Yep, been there too. Not on my face though, I always WORE A HELMET! But two broken wrists at the same time sucks bad...
If your hands aren't tore up you can still sand...Right? And maybe you should try some painting while your on the pain meds. I bet you'd come up with some far out stuff. Paint Fumes plus Pain Killers. Get better and get back to work. And, FWIW I like that baby Blue Color. Jeff
Nah they said the sand dust could infect the cuts and you sound like a bad influence jk haha, and thanks!!
Dude, your lucky your ass in still in one piece, wear a helmet! hope ya heal quick and stick to cages from now one!
Thanks man! And regaurdless to the advice I have been given, I think it's about time to start working on the 48 again! I'mm headed out to sand down what I can
Got the hood almost ready to be fullly primed, next I am working on getting the front frame rails cleaned down so I can have a buddy of mine put in some motor mounts and stuff
More done today Cleaned the frame Difference between clean and not: Got it primered: Random shots of the truck
Been kicking it on the truck! Got a lot done! Still going at it almost everyday! Can't wait to see this thing done! More pictures tomorrow!
I got my motor and tranny today!!! My two trannys Got my hood finished more (slowly getting there) My new parts I got given to me Parts I'm cleaning up And I stripped the other side of the truck And I'm going to try to post a video of the motor starting next
Like I said.. Here's the video <iframe width="560" height="349" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/yWXjCH68huk" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Not much of a visual change, but it was a heck of a lot of work.. Getting the frame further ready for our good friend Gary wilson to get the motor mounts put in, he is an amazing mechanic, great at everything, he helped us build my parents 1927 model T hotrod. (The link in my signature) Pictures:
More work done on the truck.. Got the other motor mount off and got the motor and tranny bolted together! Pictures: Pictures of my dads 27 and partly of our off topic other hotrod
Got the hood primed the rest of the way! Pictures later, can anyone tell me what size brake pad goes on this truck? Someone at a parts store told me there were two sizes of break pads
that '27 looks awesome, and your truck looks like its coming along good. it's nice to finally find another minor wrenching away on something other than a honda civic. nice mustang too, looks like a decent size shop.
Thanks! My dad built it last summer, the build thread is in the signature, thanks man, you got a kool roadster! And yah, I love old rides, don't like anything new hardly, and thanks, my dad built that one a few summers ago, and I'm very luck and have a 50x60 shop, but it's also being shared with two other cars and a 37 cab and misc parts and peices
More updates, hoods primed and got a few dash pieces ready to be taken to bare metal and painted And I have an idea for my grille, maybe I could get some opinions? Maybe a photoshop of what it would look like? I want to put 53 Buick bezels on the 48! Going straight up and down, and making the little side pieces match up with the bezel, if that makes since? (Not my truck, just using it as an example for the grille)
