My car is worthless now

This thread will become worthless, for sure, if you don't further dissect the reason for the jar of Vaseline.

Call the notch in the bumper "Patina". Very deep Patina. Get the mouth breathers all hot & bothered.

 

It's a joke.
In a one of my previous threads (50 Shoebox with truck suspension) I noted that one of the po's must have needed a truck. The hitch was just another sign that it was a multi purpose car.
So the saying that my car is worthless is from the fact I ripped out the extra add-a-leafs and coil springs from the rear axle and now the tow hitch is gone. Therefore the car can no longer perform its truck like duties.
Vaseline was used for putting on the new bolts that the new rubber bushings (for the springs) to easily slide onto.

Here's a worthless comment:

It wasn't a very nice hitch, and the bumper is/was junk anyway, so now you can get a new bumper and your car won't be worthless any longer.
