What a nice day my friend Pompadour got a new camera and took some shots of the ford in its fine form..It geting bags very soon and then to the interior and grille
Lookin good, although with the grill out it kind of reminds me of an old man with no teeth!! Ha ha ha!!
thats makes me want to go out to the shop and work on my shoebox.... this is the kind of motivation i need! im with slowandlow63, thats some real smooth body work.
very nice, the chop is great rolls smooth into the back of the car,the color is great. What are your ideas on the grill?...stock would look killer.cant wait to see it on bags.Well done!
Thanks for the good words. The car is chopped about 3 3/4 in front and 4 in the rear. I moved the rear window forward about 4 inches and sunk it about 2in so that made the trunk look longer which these cars need bad. Slanted the B pillars to where it looked good and kept the line below the rear window like stock. I wanted the shape of the roof to resemble stock, so I didnt chop it to look chopped. In my opinion this is how these cars should have looked from the factory. I worked on this car for 3 years to get it where its at now and couldnt have done it without the help of my friend scott and also butchie for laying down the paint. The color is number 143 maroon dupont chroma base. Again thanks. Joe
Nice shoebox ! Just wondering are you guys planning to put the stainless back around the windshield ?
Ya I need to make up the stainless for the windshield and vent windows etc, my goal is to get the glass/stainless squared away this year. The paint is a base clear. Thanks, Joe
Once you get all the stainless back on it, that thing will be perfect! In my oppinion, it would set it over the top if you just lowered it a bit more, static drop though, no bags. But, your car (and what a car it is!) Congrats!
looks great, i really wish i could have chopped my shoebox but it just seemed too much on my budget/timeframe looks amazing i must say
