Looks good man. With all the work you've already done with the trans, that engine should go in in just a few hours. You've run it on a stand already, so you know it's a runner. You've got a long weekend in a few days!

Yeah, but I still havn't got the rear main to quite leaking!!!!! I finally broke down and purchased a rear main seal kit. I know it would not take long, but I am really booked with work right now and just see getting the free time to tear it apart, machine the crank, put it togeather, cross my fingers and run it in the next month. Maybe, but probably not. Thanks for the encouragment though!

Rear main leaking? That came stock from the factory! That's your chasis oiler :D

Rumor has it that Henry Ford had a deal with the tar street layers to oil the streets to keep them in good shape. :D

Seriously, here is some good reading on rear main leak diagnostics. Nice article!

Chris, what did you do to the rear end to get it to where it is now? By that I mean, did you do anything to the rear of the car or just change tires. The stance is what I'm shooting for and I'm close but, as we all know, there never finished. Thanks.

Stock T spring, one leaf removed. I am gonna install that leaf, but add a reverse eyed spring to stiffen it up, but get the same height. Right now it is pretty springy (but I also havn't installed shocks yet)

  30. I love the b&w pic, screen saver material! Good looking car!
