Just bought this little gem of cl over the weekend. Very clean older build. Strong runner. I'm still pinching myself. This has always been a dream car of mine. 20160124_144939.jpg 20160124_145024.jpg 20160124_144955.jpg 20160124_152753.jpg 20160124_145002.jpg

Day-amn Rusty! It even has the right wheels/tires on it. I'd be planning a summer road trip to include the HAMB drags.

There was a mid 50's panel truck (Thames I think) that kicked around the area for a while. Somebody had tried to put a 302 into it and never got it working right. The project was obviously stalled and parked at a local cement plant, so I was always going to stop in and see if I could buy it. Of course I let it slip by for too long and one day I saw it half crushed at the local dump. Glad to see you snagged your dream car in time.

I've always had a soft spot for Anglia's. That sits nice, nice simple interior. How is the dash, and what is the front suspension?

Dropped tube front, transverse spring, with a,track bar, ladder bar rear with coil overs and a narrowed 12 bolt.

That looks very similar to one that was in an old Street Rod "Pictorial", in approx. 1970-71 and I think it was running Cragars. Same car?

  22. Great stuff, that is a very nice anglebox.
That's what we used to call em.
I once owned a 42. Stocker, pics are somewhere in my albums.

  25. Great ride, Gotta agree with Rocky. Thank god it doesn't have those frickin "g***er" 10 spoke wheels. The E-T's look right at home
